Hon. Anamero Dekeri Sunday, Member Representing Etsako Federal Constituency in the Federal House of Representatives, has started the construction of a modern NYSC Corpers Lodge, a key constituency project designed to improve the welfare and living conditions of corps members serving within the constituency.
The kick off ceremony, attended by youth representatives, NYSC Corpers, and other stakeholders, marks another milestone in Hon. Anamero’s continuous effort to deliver impactful, people-centered projects that address pressing needs across Etsako East, West, and Central LGAs.
“Our corps members are an integral part of community development wherever they serve. It is only right that we provide them with decent and secure accommodation that allows them to carry out their duties effectively. This NYSC Lodge project is a testament to our commitment to empowering young Nigerians and strengthening local infrastructure,” he said.
The proposed NYSC Corpers Lodge will feature modern facilities, including fully a common area, water supply, and other essential amenities to ensure comfort and functionality.
Community leaders and NYSC representatives commended Hon. Anamero for his foresight and dedication to improving the lives of both residents and service corps members in the constituency. They described the project as timely and visionary, especially in light of the growing need for better welfare infrastructure for youth deployed to rural areas.
This project joins a growing list of constituency developments initiated by Hon. Anamero, including solar-powered boreholes, classroom blocks, healthcare facilities, and empowerment programs spread across various communities in Etsako Federal Constituency.
Construction is already underway, and Hon. Anamero assured all present that the project will be completed within schedule and built to high-quality standards.
